Mike is a proud father and a dedicated public servant. As a lifetime resident of Rushville, he first ran for mayor in 2011 to reinvigorate Rushville and bring back a sense of pride in his hometown. Through teamwork, strategic planning and the attraction of unprecedented investment, Rushville has transformed itself into a community that is truly leading the way in rural Indiana.

Mike is a proud graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School, Purdue University College of Engineering, Ball State University’s Center for Economic and Community Development, and the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute.

Before taking political office, Mayor Pavey was a project engineer for McComas Engineering for 18 years. Mike is a proud father to his son, Nicholas.

Record private sector investment in Rushville

• $289 million of private investment since 2017, a record amount
